“Vibes” by La Club Royale: a delightful, synth-pop song that really sticks the landing of driving home those retro ’80s sounds, instantly transporting the listener back in time in a spectacular fashion.

Propelled by a powerful bass and electronic drum combination the song has a solid foundation, over which glistening synth melodies glide. With the instrumentation covering these bases, the vocals then deliver minimalist lyrics, allowing the distinct musical sections of the song to take the listener on a journey, with a particular highlight being around the 2 minute mark, when the song takes a wonderfully dramatic and atmospheric turn, catching us off guard and keeping us hooked until the very end.

An incredibly strong second single from the Scottish duo La Club Royale who have, most certainly, hit the ground running.
