“Sunshine Down To The Soles Of My Shoes” by Certain

Sunshine Down To The Soles Of My Shoes” – a new single by Wolverhampton-based collective Certain is a happy indie-anthem, perfect for this summer. The song relates to the gloomy winter of this year and presents us with happy melodies and riffs, reminding us that things are ‘’getting better’ and that we have a hopeful future ahead of us.

The track executes the simple pop structure beautifully by providing us with a variety of happy chord progressions, interesting vocal melodies and most importantly – the song it’s incredibly easy to sing-along to, making it a perfect way to celebrate newly acquired freedom among your friends or in a pub!

Regarding the single, Certain say: ‘’The perfect antidote to lockdown gloom, let’s finally kick off 2021 with something that leaves us feeling sunshine, with something that’s Certain.’’

As for the project, Certain state:
“We are Certain, a collective of creators, artists and musicians celebrating the eternal power of music to lift the spirit. Algar/Nicholas are the song writing powerhouse showcasing the stunning vocal talents of Wolverhampton artists; Taylor Stylez, Ange Lloyd, Amara Latchford and Connor Brooks. Sprinkling it all with a bit of legendary Magic Garden production stardust is Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Ocean Colour Scene, The Twang)”.

The song was released in late-April and is available on all streaming platforms along with beautifully executed feel-good animated music video created by Dan Crew. We have the trailer version below and are excited to see the full video once released!
