Hailing from Portsmouth, the indie-rock quartet, Novacain, have just shared their euphoric new single titled “Shine On Me”. This new song has been timed perfectly with summer, as it wonderfully captures a sense of upbeat elation with its catchy indie riffs, iconic melodies, and surprise use of brass – this unexpected treat possibly nods to the likes of Red Rum Club and is something that we, and most likely others too, love.

Opening with a delightfully bright guitar riff, the band immediately have us hooked. From here the singer, Daniel McTaggart, gives a strong vocal performance – effortlessly blending charisma with music, resulting in a song that is not just catchy, but also shows the band’s personality.
