Great Waves have always been a gem of the North East music scene and their latest single, “Close Encounters“, epitomises their sound; demonstrating their music hallmarks of powerful vocals, melodic guitar lines and balanced percussion serving the song well.

The quartet have been enjoying an upward trajectory that, judging from this recent release, is set to continue as they simultaneously please existing fans with consistently great music whilst also winning over new followers as their music reaches new audiences further afield.
