Music Roundup #4

“Leaving” by The Pylons: a short, sweet masterpiece stunningly mixed with superb production. Vocal harmonies bring to mind parts of ‘It’s All Too Much‘ by The Beatles, whilst maintaining their own unique identity.

“Screensaver” by Swine Tax: witty lyrics further complemented by a melodic guitar riff that evokes 1950’s Surf-Rock. Energetic throughout with a distinctive Post-Punk/Art-Rock flair, characteristic of the quartet.

“Reminisce” by Never Now: a fast-paced Indie-Rock tune with the swagger of 90’s Britpop/Rock heard evidently. Packed with energy, this must go down a treat with crowds when played live.
