Sakawa Boys bring a perfect blend of energy, melodies, and memorability to this song that has so many variations within itself that it reminds us, to some extent, of the song “She” by Wolf Alice which also won us over when first released in 2014 – Sakawa Boys, in a similar vein, deliver a song that always keeps you guessing, resulting in a song packed with hooks that demands repeat listens in order to slake the listener’s thirst.
Opening with a frenzied-though-melodic guitar hook, this song is destined to quickly win over any listener with its melodic-punk style that creates a catchy song that still has a punk/rock character to it though, unlike some punk artists, Sakawa Boys don’t forget about the music-side. Production-wise, listeners will notice that it’s not overly-refined, again keeping some aspects of the punk/rock sound without losing any musical appeal.

Sakawa Boys reveal more about the song in their own words:“This song has to do with not being able to focus for more than what feels like 10 seconds these days. It’s so intense doing a job, communicating with friends and family and shit, perpetually being marketed to, looking up useless information and just being bombarded with crazy levels of attention-grabbing stuff. I feel like we are all fucking exhausted after each day just because of what life asks of us these days. We are just in a state of constant over-stimulation. Skye sent me the parts and the way it was structured with so many changes and switches immediately made me think of that perpetually distracted feeling. It’s such an ADHD type song where nothing sort of sits or stays the same for very long and I really love how it came together in the end.”
With a fast-growing discography that includes superb songs such as “Berlin”, “Brain Fog”, “Out of the Dark”, and “Loves Labour”, Sakawa Boys are quickly becoming one of our favourite groups. We’re excited to see what they will do in 2025.
