Hi, how are you all doing? In your own words, how would you describe your sound and style? 
Hi, we’re doing well, really glad to finally get some music out there for people, its been far too long! 

Our sound is definitely more of a mix of styles somewhere between indie-pop and alternative music, there are songs that are that airy light pop type of sound and then we have those that push into a slightly heavier mood. I’d say “Eighteen” almost bridges that gap.


We enjoyed your latest single “Eighteen” that you released on 3 July. What meanings or themes does the song have? What was the songwriting process like? 
Thank you very much, the response we have had on the song has been really gratifying hearing people enjoy listening to it. 

The meaning of the song is quite simple you could say, its about that feeling of a relationship that has that passion to it that it pulls you back to feeling like a young adult again where you live more on your emotions and your heart rather than with your head.

The songwriting process on this one was much like a lot of our music, it started out with one member, in this case David, coming to the band with a sort of foundational idea in terms of an initial chord progression and almost within a single session the music was written. Initial lyrical ideas were written by Khyle which were sharpened over time with inputs from other members. It’s always a very collaborative writing style we use and nothing is off the table, it’s something we are all quite proud of that we all contribute to the writing process. 

Do you have any plans for the year ahead that you would like to share with us? Also, what would you like to achieve in the upcoming year? 
As you will likely have seen we have now released an E.P and a B-side for said E.P, trying to keep up some steam now, we are hoping to get some gigs in as well. Since we have been out of the scene for a while we’re hoping to get some shows back under our belt and maybe a nice home field headline show… 

What music highlights have you had so far as a band?
Mainly just getting back out there with music so far, its been really good reconnecting as a band as well after taking a step back for a while to collect ourselves. Just being back in a room with each other and getting some creative energy flowing again has been such a breath of fresh air.
