Hi. We enjoyed your latest release “See Your Face Again” which adds to your growing discography. What kick-started the writing process for this release and is there a story or message behind the song?
The song came out of nowhere to be honest. The lyrics came out of my head and it was only after it was finished I realised what it was about and it ended up being about a topic I feel passionately about. In terms of choosing this song to release I think it is a good change of style to my previous singles. The message is about the importance of getting back to a level of happiness after a breakup and remaining there even if you see the person again and feelings possibly return.
Who, or what, influences may you have in regards to your music? What inspires you and pushes your creativity?
Blink-182 would be my biggest influence and are really the reason I played in bands and began writing songs. Since then I have taken influences from other genres of artists. When I get ideas for songs I take a lot of enjoyment in working on them and seeing where they go. Writing lyrics is where I get most of my creativity I think. Most of my inspiration seems to be around relationships, heartache, longing for someone or something.
What artists would you love to see live? Furthermore, what artists would you recommend that others listen to or see live?
I would love to see Peter Gabriel live sometime; ‘In Your Eyes’ and ‘Solsbury Hill’ are two of my favourite all time songs. I would recommend people listen to Big Boi from Outkast. I have an album of his from a number of years back which really has some great tracks that fans of hip hop would love. To be honest I would also recommend Peter Gabriel to anyone if you haven’t listened to him before.

What have been music highlights for you so far? Whether that be any particular live experiences, achievements, or personal goals related to your music.
I had a track get over 10,000 plays on Spotify which was great to see and when you see such a response to your music it gives you a great sense of achievement. Writing a full album is also something I never thought I would do and so am excited for that release also. My main goal with my music is just for as many people to hear it as possible.
It’s still early on in the year. What plans do you have for the rest of 2024 in regards to live shows and releases? Where can new fans hope to see you live?
I have no gigs planned as of yet but will plan some this year for definite. Of course all will be detailed across my social media too. The main thing then is my debut album which I am aiming to have out by the middle of this year. I may release another single either before or after its release.
