Allow us to introduce you to our favourite music video of 2023: “Turn It Up” by Swiss band, The Clive. Featuring a visually colourful style, the band inject a healthy dose of humour into the video which works well with the energetic and upbeat song which creates a memorable gem of a song and video pairing that is bound to win over new fans worldwide.

Opening with a tasteful octave-focused riff with initial similarities to ‘Immigrant Song’ by Led Zeppelin, the band then twist the guitar playing to take the song in a different direction thereby adding a fresh spin to the riff and giving music fans a taste of something but somewhat familiar and yet new, particularly with the more alternative leanings. The song then maintains this melodic alternative rock direction with great energy and character which is then topped by a hooky chorus that is quick to learn and would likely be popular with gig and festival crowds.
